How to write an APA-style paper step-by-step

Your introduction should give a short summary of your topic, how it relates to the study, and how you came up with your theory.
The word “Method” should be big and in the center, and it should come right after your introduction.It should make it clear how you did your study. Make subheadings to explain the topics, sources, and study methods you used. There shouldn’t be any page breaks in your paper, not even between these subheadings.
The title of each subheading should be in bold, and the titles should all be lined to the left. Each paragraph starts on the next line.
Show what you’ve found.
After the last section of your methods, put “Findings” in bold and in the center. Be sure to include any important statistics that help to explain what you found.

In the discussion part, you should explain why your writing is important.
Just after the section on what you found, put this part in the middle and put the word “Discussion” in bold. Talk about things like how your findings fit with your theory. Watch out for any limits on your study.

Add the part with the citations.

After your talk section, the word “References” should be in bold and in the center. This should be followed by a brief summary of all the bibliographical information for these references.
Start with the last name of the first source and go through the list in alphabetical order.
There shouldn’t be a space between each source.
Include any graphs or charts that you made.

Save one page for the abstract.
In one line, summarize the topic, how it was done, what was found, and what was talked about. Aim for 150–250 lines maximum.
