This article critiques a qualitative study conducted to explore the behavioral determinants of the healthcare team reporting medication errors as reiterated by Alqubaisi et al., (2016).

Indeed there exist gaps in the management of patients’ safety concerning medication errors. The revelation by the study on less focus placed on factors that impair reporting of the errors is significant to both the patient safety as well as the nursing profession since it digs deep into the root of the matter. ..
