CAUTI Literature critique: Catheter associated urinary tract infection
This week you will add to your formal synthesis of literature by completing a critical critique of the literature you have selected for your practice challenge (minimum of 6 articles). A critical critique of the literature analyzes the strength of the study. The focus is on methods, sample, level of evidence (content of lit table). This process assists you to narrow down your evidence so you can choose the strongest, most relevant literature. Often when you complete a lit search, you will end up with 50+ articles. A lit critique, assists you to organize and select the ones you can use.
You will complete a narrative portion, as well as a literature table to summarize. I have posted a template for your literature table. This table will be cited in the body of your paper as Appendix A and then attached at the end of the paper.

Your critical critique of literature should include the following content.
1. Description of your critical critique process and content, cite text.
2. Approximately one paragraph for each article narrating the critical critique.
3. Attach your literature table as a word document to your DB.
You do not need to respond to your peers this week. However, I want you to be able to review your peers content and process to support your own process/content. Please let me know if you have any questions.
MY main research topic is Catheter associated urinary tract infection.
