On the other hand, quality excellence is defined as processing good qualities in high degree. People value excellence because it’s hard to find. Excellence can be defined as the quality of excelling. There are factors which show quality excellence of an organization. One is that the organization does not tolerate low performers. Leaders with low performances may end up mismanaging the healthcare organization. Consistent leadership also affects quality excellence of the organization. High ratings in consistent leadership leads to quality performance of the organization. Effective leadership training also improves performance of the healthcare organization.

Lean and Six Sigma technique is used to improve quality in service industry. Combination of lean management and six sigma principles is new to healthcare industry but hospitals worldwide have implemented the process especially in terms of improving patient flow and reducing patient length of stay and above all, improving quality of care in patients.
