Health care reforms

Health care reforms are generally changes in especially policies in attempt to improve service delivery. Health care reforms are made to improve the quality of care being given to patients as well as to ensure total coverage of all the ill individuals. ( Marusic & Rupel 2016) In the United States, there was a great need to reform health care because the cost was so high and many people suffered especially in early and late stages of life. The president Barrack Obama therefore signed a law act ensuring affordable health for all. (Obama, 2016) The law continues to be impacted and affects the population as well as the organizations delivering health care. Hospitals are able to provide holistic care to patients with their bills being covered.

In response to affordable care for all acts, the organization has adjusted in receiving payments from all forms of insurances. This is because most people without employer sponsored insurances seek other forms of insurances. The population of people seeking healthcare has also increased because the public can afford. The organization hence had to expand staff availability to reduce workload. The changes were quite sequential and in order of priority. This involved employment of more staff to handle increased number of patients.  Technological advancement to adjust to new payment methods was as well implemented.
