As a leader in practice, you have to disseminate your project design, implementation, and findings. First, you need to present your PICOT question and how you determined the gap in practice. Next you will need to share the use of theory or a conceptual framework to support your ideas for change. Then you will need to provide the change model for change and steps in the process integrated in the model. In addition, you will present a description of how you will evaluate your findings and conclude with a brief summary of the highlights of the project.
To complete this assignment you will create a 250 word abstract for a conference presentation. The sections of the abstract include the introduction to the gap in practice with the PICOT question, the theory or conceptual framework used, a brief synthesis of the supporting literature, the model for change you used, the intervention and implementation steps used, and a description of how you will evaluate your findings.
You will create an abstract that includes a reference list and parenthetical citations in each section of the abstract to show where information is used. While APA does not include citations in an abstract, this abstract will need citations and a reference list following APA guidelines.
